Network Administrator
Washington, DC

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operations of IT-related functions including desktop, server, and network infrastructure installation
  • Configuration and maintenance of customer systems, including back-ups
  • Coordinate with other team members to provide overall support to customers using a standard escalation process
  • Creation and maintenance of network documentation to identify server hardware, software configuration, and connectivity
  • User account and print queue creation and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues via phone or in person
  • Respond to and provide assistance with desktop support issues
  • Involvement in 24x7 rotation of pager, requiring response within standard timeframes
  • Occasional evening and weekend work
  • Frequent travel to customer locations within the local DC area
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years of technical experience in a support or help desk environment
  • 1+ years of experience performing the full range of network administration duties and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows and anti-virus software
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex technical tasks and analysis
  • Demonstrated capability of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members, other teams, management, and customers
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Windows MCP certification

SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE IT CONSULTING

Job Description

AssureTech is seeking a senior sales executive who can be successful working in a fast paced, dynamic entrepreneurial environment. The position requires someone who is a proven strategic solution/staff augmentation sales expert and has an extensive and current contact base with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies within the local market.

Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities for AssureTech in new accounts through prospecting including: Networking contact and, marketing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Articulate and position full spectrum of AssureTech's services and solutions to key departmental decision makers
  • Manage the entire sales cycle with accountability to engage specialist Delivery Managers
  • Aggressive and active in competitive accounts, knowledgeable regarding competition and industry trends
  • Represent AssureTech at trade exhibitions, local IT organizations, and events
  • Territory planning and development
Mandatory Skills
  • Information Technology Consulting Sales experience.
  • Industry/technology specific knowledge of horizontal/vertical markets, BI & Data Delivery, Development & Integration,
  • Application Management, Testing, and Project Management.
  • Proven record of IT consulting sales experience with either Government or Commercial
  • Must have existing client relationships with senior decision makers in upper mid to large-size companies.
  • "Hunter" oriented sales professional.
  • Understanding of the team sales model
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Success oriented, driven, sales hunter
  • Experience developing fixed bid and T&M based proposals is a plus
  • 'C' level contacts/presence
